PDEKK, LLC – Roots ‘N Boots Mud Bog & Music Festival 2011
Dates: October 21^st – 23^rd 2011
Venue: Triple Canopy Ranch
-This event will consist of open mud bogging, ATV trail riding and a music festival. There will be truck, buggy, and ATV races for a $3,000 purse Saturday afternoon. The event ends with live music on stage Saturday night to go along with the awarding of the race awards.

Florida ISA – Halloween Scream
Dates: 10/22 – 10/23
Venue: Bartow “555” Complex & Loyce Harpe Park-Lakeland
-This will be an ISA qualifying tournament and is expected to bring in 105 participants & 170 spectators.

Florida Youth Soccer Association – Region 3 Premiere League
Dates: 10/22 – 10/23
Venue: Lake Myrtle Sports Park
-This event will bring in 8 elite boys soccer teams to Polk County from around the Eastern United States. Age ranges from U15 – U16.
-More than 160 participants and 100 spectators are expected to attend.

Lakeland Table Tennis Association – Florida Orange Blossom Series – Fall Classic
Dates: 10/21 – 10/23
Venue: Simpson Park Community Center – Lakeland, Fl
-This Table Tennis Event will be bringing in 100 out of county players to Lakeland.

Paintball Sports Promotions – PSP 2011 World Cup

Paintballers Invade Polk County Next Week

We are now one week away from the largest Paintball Championships in the United States taking place in Polk County. The PSP World Cup comes to Fantasy of Flight beginning next Wednesday and will be home to 10,000 spectators and competitors. The PSP 2009 World Cup will be held at the attraction in Polk City October 7-11 and will bring more than 5,000 competitors and an additional 5,000 spectators to the area. Competition will take place each day from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and admission is free to most fields, with the pro field admission being $10. In addition to the competition, PSP Events will have a huge paintball trade show each day from 9am-5pm.

Paintballs will be Flying in October

If you are near Fantasy of Flight in early October you may want to watch out because vintage airplanes will not be the only things flying in the air. It was just announced that the 2009 PSP Paintball World Cup will be held at Fantasy of Flight October 7-11. The World Cup is the largest event for paintball competitors and it is also considered the most prestigious paintball tournament in the United States. The event has been held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports for the past six years. More than 5,000 athletes and an additional 5,000 spectators wil converge on Fantasy of Flight for the event, which also includes a paintball tradeshow where all the latest paintball gear and gadgets are on display.
