Lakeland Flying Tigers starting pitcher Jonah Nickerson was named Pitcher of the Week by the Florida State League (FSL).  The selection was for the period of May 12-18.
In his two starts Nickerson was 1-1 with an ERA of 1.84.  In 14.2 innings pitched he allowed only 9 hits, 2 walks while striking out 13 batters.  [...]

The Lakeland Flying Tigers are hosting another All-You-Can-Eat night tonight (May 21).  Admission is only $10 and includes a ticket to the game, parking and all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, chips, peanuts, popcorn and pretzels from 6:00-9:00 pm.  Ale Gators will be here serving up samples as well while supplies last.
