Jones led the Bulls with 46 points in an overtime victory on the road. That was impressive enough, but Jones 46 points in the game puts him second all-time in Big East basketball for most points in a regular season game. It is also the second highest point total by a Division I basketball player this season. When you think about the greats who have played in the Big East: Carmelo Anthony, Patrick Ewing, Allen Iverson, Alonzo Mourning, Derrick Coleman, Ray Allen, and many, many more; this is quite an accomplishment.
