This Week’s Events

MONDAY, JUNE 29 – TUESDAY, JUNE 30
Louisville Slugger Classic · Chain O’ Lakes Complex, Lake Bonny Park, Henley Field
-Florida Scout Ball Association will host their Louisville Slugger Classic.
-More than 80 teams (ages 14U, 16U, and 18U) will be traveling to Polk County to compete in three different age divisions.

MONDAY, JUNE 29 – TUESDAY, JUNE 30
Lakeland Flying Tigers · Lakeland
– Lakeland Flying Tigers is celebrating their 50th season of baseball. Join them for $1 nights, All You Can Eat nights, fireworks and more!
– Kids may play catch on the field prior to the game, and run the bases following the game (weather permitting).
– Lakeland vs Jupiter.

MONDAY, JUNE 29 – FRIDAY, JULY 3
Sasvari Way International Soccer Academy · Lake Myrtle Sports Park
-Come join the exclusive club of over 1200 players from Europe, Africa and the USA who have attended the International Soccer Academy in Auburndale, FL (USA) and compete with players from throughout the world.
-Since 2003, this unique camp has brought together top international coaches and youth national & regional level players for a one of a kind experience in the USA’s top tourist destination.

FRIDAY, JULY 3 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Red, White & Kaboom · Lakeland
-The T.Mims Corp. Red, White & Kaboom Independence Celebration will take place with live music at Lake Mirror along the Frances Langford Promenade on Friday, July 3rd with a breathtaking fireworks display dazzling the crowd
-A live concert featuring the energetic Clemons Road
-Variety of food trucks around Lake Mirror so bring a blanket, bring your appetite and enjoy the festivities in celebrating our great nation

FRIDAY, JULY 3 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Rock N’ Freedom Fest · Winter Haven
-Rock N’ Freedom Fest will include live music, children’s activities with inflatables and a water ski show by the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team, Inc. fireworks display will cap off the evening.

FRIDAY, JULY 3 – SUNDAY, JULY 5
Red, Brick & Boom · Winter Haven
-Red, Brick & Boom allows guests to celebrate the 4th of July with a bang at this third annual Independence Day event.
-With a super brick flag build and special viewing glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding bricks, this July 4th celebration is sure to dazzle and delight with three nights of family fun and fireworks.

SATURDAY, JULY 4 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Celebrate Fourth of July in Lake Alfred · Lake Alfred
-We’ll have food, fun, music, car show, a bass fishing tournament, and kid’s activities this year at Lions Park.

SATURDAY, JULY 4 2:00 PM – 9:30 PM
4th of July Celebration in Auburndale · Auburndale
-Event will feature a kid zone, music, fireworks and food.

SATURDAY, JULY 4 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Bartow 4th of July Celebration · Bartow
– The celebration will begin with a patriotic concert from the Bartow Adult Concert Band
-The 4th of July Extravaganza is at Mosaic Park and will feature live music, food vendors, games, and much more.

Saturday, July 4 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Thunder on the Ridge · Haines City
– A variety of artists will take the stage this year followed by the largest fireworks display in Polk County.
– There will be plenty of arts, crafts and food vendors, a beer garden and other activities on site. Come join the fun!

SATURDAY, JULY 4 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Flying Tigers 4th of July Independence Day Celebration · Lakeland
– Baseball and Patriotic Fireworks Show Highlight Festivities.
– The Flying Tigers will take on the Dunedin Blue Jays
– There will be holiday picnic themed games, contests, music and fun. There will also be live music and entertainment following the game by The Sofa Kings and then fireworks to round off the night.
– Lakeland vs. Dunedin.

SATURDAY, JULY 4 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Westgate River Ranch July 4th Weekend Celebration · River Ranch
– A patriotic themed rodeo featuring trick riders, barrel racing, bull riders, a tribute to the armed forces, and fireworks.

SATURDAY, JULY 4 – SUNDAY, JULY 5
Florida ISA Youth High School States · Bartow Park/CR 555 Recreation Complex
-Florida Independent Softball Association (ISA) presents Youth High School States, a youth softball qualifying tournament.

Lake Region Firecracker Baseball Invitational · Lake Myrtle Sports Park
-Lake Region Baseball is putting on the 21st Lake Region Firecracker Baseball Invitational.
