Polk County Auburn Club Annual Meeting · Lakeland
-The Polk County Auburn Club is hosting its annual meeting on May 19 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lakeland. Special guest will be Rhett Lashlee, offensive coordinator for the Auburn University football program. The event features a buffet dinner, cash bar, and silent auction, with proceeds benefitting the Polk County Auburn Club Scholarship fund

THURSDAY, MAY 21 – SUNDAY, MAY 24
Lakeland Flying Tigers · Lakeland
– Lakeland Flying Tigers is celebrating their 50th season of baseball. Join them for $1 nights, All You Can Eat nights, fireworks and more!
-Kids may play catch on the field prior to the game, and run the bases following the game (weather permitting).
– Lakeland vs Bradenton

FRIDAY, MAY 22 – SUNDAY, MAY 24
61st Annual Florida Square & Round Dance Convention · Lakeland
-Florida Federation of Square Dancers presents the 61st Annual Florida Square & Round Dance Convention.
-This square dancing convention will be held at the Lakeland Center and expects to bring over 600 attendees to Polk County.

FRIDAY, MAY 22 – SUNDAY, MAY 24
YBOA Summer Slam · Lakeland
-Polk County is hosting the SOYSA Summer Slam youth basketball tournament.
-The event is presented by Youth Basketball of America (YBOA), the premier youth membership organization in the sport of basketball.

SATURDAY, MAY 23 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Lake Wales Car Show · Lake Wales
-Stroll and admire the cool antique, custom and classic cars of yesteryear while enjoying music, enchanting shops, and the unique restaurants of charming downtown Lake Wales.

SATURDAY, MAY 23 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Florida Marine Raiders X-League Football · Lakeland
-The Raiders will play five home games at The Lakeland Center on from April – June.
-The mission of the Ultimate Indoor Football League is to provide fast paced, fan-friendly professional football at affordable prices.

SATURDAY, MAY 23 – SUNDAY, MAY 24
ISA Youth Memorial Madness · Bartow Park/CR 555 Recreation Complex
-Florida Independent Softball Association (ISA) presents Youth Memorial Madness in Bartow, a youth softball qualifying tournament that expects to bring over 400 participants and spectators to Polk County.
-All competition venues include parking, seating, and concessions available to spectators.

SUNDAY, MAY 24 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Block Party on the Lake · Winter Haven
-Join Harborside for a concert block party.
-The event will feature four bands, art displays and glass blowing demonstrations, as well as food, beer and drink specials.

MONDAY, MAY 25 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Memorial Day Ceremony in Haines City · Haines City
-Held at Railroad Park, this event is Haines City’s way of saying “Thank you!” to those who’ve fought for our freedom.
-If you are a Veteran or active Military, the City of Haines City would like to honor you with a Heroes Ceremonial Police and Fire escort to Railroad Park.
