Lakeland Flying Tigers· Lakeland
– Lakeland Flying Tigers is celebrating their 50th season of baseball. Join them for $1 nights, All You Can Eat nights, fireworks and more!
-Kids may play catch on the field prior to the game, and run the bases following the game (weather permitting).

Mother’s Day Water Ski Tournament Fest · Mulberry
-Ski Paradise, Inc. presents the Mother’s Day Water Ski Tournament, a sanctioned event featuring slalom and trick skiing. Ski Paradise has hosted water ski tournaments from the local level to the regional level. Several records have been set by their members who train at the facility.

MIDFLORIDA Mayfaire by-the-Lake · Lakeland
– MIDFLORIDA Mayfaire by-the-Lake has grown into one of Florida’s premier outdoor art festivals and is listed among Sunshine Artist magazine’s “Top 100 Best Fine Art Shows.” It is a juried show that will feature the work of approximately 165 artists displaying their jewelry, sculptures, paintings and more. A full slate of live entertainment will be presented on the stage in front of the Lakeland Public Library, and the Children’s Art Tent and Kids Zone will again be located in the Museum parking lot.
-Parking is free at nearby Florida Southern College, and shuttle service to the parking lots and around the lake is provided free of charge.
– Mayfaire Saturday Night moves the fun to the Lake Mirror Promenade at 5:00 p.m. for a free street dance party and fireworks display. Music will be provided by MPiRE.
-In addition, about 1,200 athletes are expected to participate in the Annual Mayfaire Classic 5K Road Race & Walk, sponsored by the LakelandRunnersClub.org.
-The race begins at 7 p.m. at Lake Mirror Center.

ISA Youth Summer Slam · Bartow
Florida Independent Softball Association (ISA) presents Youth Summer Slam in Bartow, a youth softball qualifying tournament that expects to bring over 480 participants and spectators to Polk County.
Polk County hosts more than 70 youth, adult, and senior softball tournaments annually. Home to over 40 tournament-quality competitive softball fields, Polk County is suitable to host events that appeal to all ages. All competition venues include parking, seating, and concessions available to spectators. With eight multi-field complexes all located within a 30-mile radius of each other, Polk County is considered one of the country’s premier softball tournament destinations.
