Paintball Sports Promotions World Cup

Venue: Fantasy of Flight, Polk City
– Paintball enthusiasts from across the world will travel to Fantasy of Flight over the four-day event, along with a manufacturers’ tradeshow where paintball players can pick up all of the latest equipment and apparel in the paintball industry.

Run or Dye (The World’s Most Colorful 5K)
Date: Saturday, October 11
Venue: Lake Eva Park, Haines City
– As you run/walk/dance through this 5K course, you will get showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based powdered dye at every kilometer…turning you into a technicolor canvas of fun.

18th Annual Gasparilla Invitational

Saturday, October 11 – Sunday, October 12
Venue: The Lakeland Center
– Lightning City Gymnastics is proud to present the 18th Annual Gasparilla Invitational featuring girls ages 4 to 17 from across the state of Florida.

Florida ISA Adult Halloween Scream

Venue: Bartow Softball Complex
– Florida Independent Sports Association (Florida ISA) presents the Youth Halloween Havoc in Bartow, a youth softball-qualifying tournament that is expected to bring over 375 participants and spectators to Polk County.

Venue: Bartow Softball Complex
– Florida Independent Sports Association (Florida ISA) presents the Youth Halloween Havoc in Bartow, a youth softball-qualifying tournament that is expected to bring over 600 participants and spectators to Polk County.

Lake Region Fall Classic

Saturday, October 11 – Sunday, October 12
Venue: Lake Myrtle Sports Park, Auburndale
– Lake Region High School presents the Lake Region Fall Classic, a 18-U and 16-U baseball tournament held at Lake Region High School in Winter Haven, and Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale.

IPSC World Shoot XVII Opening Ceremonies
Date: 
Sunday, October 12
Venue:
Lake Mirror, Lakeland
– The celebration will begin with the Parade of Nations that is highlighted by all IPSC World Shoot competitors, match officials and regional directors who will carry the flags of the countries.
– Opening Ceremonies will feature speeches by local dignitaries, an aerial demonstration, a water ski show performed by the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team, musical performances by the Harrison School of the Arts Jazz Band, and an on-the-water fireworks show.
