38th Annual Polk County Amateur Championship

Venue: Lone Palm Golf Club, Lakeland
– Presented by Bright House Networks, this charity tournament benefits Girls, Inc., the First Tee of Lakeland and the Citrus Center Boys and Girls Clubs.

Florida ISA August Bash
Date:
Saturday, August 2 – Sunday, August 3
Venue: Loyce Harpe Park, Mulberry
Florida Independent Sports Association (Florida ISA) presents the August Bash in Mulberry, an adult softball-qualifying tournament that is expected to bring more than 100 participants and spectators to Polk County.

Nation’s High School Baseball Tournament

Venue: Lake Myrtle Sports Park, Auburndale
– Florida Suncoast Sports presents the Nation’s High School Baseball Tournament at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale on  Saturday, August 2 through Sunday, August 3.
