Registration is Open for the 2012 Florida International Senior Games

Registration is now open for the 2012 Florida International Senior Games & State Championships, to be held in Polk County, December 1-9!Senior Games 2011

The 21st Annual Games are a qualifier for the 2013 National Senior Games to be held in Cleveland, Ohio, during the summer of 2013.

The 2012 Florida International Senior Games offers three ways to register. The easiest way for athletes to register is online registration available at Florida Sports.  Also available online at Florida Sports are PDF documents athletes can print and mail back to the Florida Sports Foundation.  Finally, the 2012 Florida International Senior Games & State Championships Registration Books have been printed and mailed out to prospective athletes who have qualified at a 2012 Florida Local Senior Games competition.

Entry fees vary and registration deadlines vary by sport.

The 2012 Games offer 23 sports for competition.  Two of the sports, Softball and the 10K Road Race, will be held on dates in November.  Softball will be played November 3-4 and the 10K Road Race is November 17.  Both sports are qualifying events for the 2013 National Senior Games.

Cycling Florida Senior Games 2011Of the more than 20 sports contested at the 2012 Games, the following sports are required to have a qualifying performance at a local Senior Games by Florida residents.  Badminton, Basketball Shooting, 3-on-3 Basketball, Bowling, Cycling, Golf, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis and Track and Field.  Non-resident athletes are not required to qualify at a Florida Local Senior Games qualifier for any sport.
