The Flying Tigers Close Out the Season Against the Yankees

The Lakeland Flying Tigers have returned home for the final homestand of the season that began Monday, August 27 at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Lakeland hosted the Brevard County Manatees August 27 – 29 and will host the Tampa Yankees beginning tonight, August 30 through September 2.

Thursday, August 30 vs. Tampa Yankees @ 6:30 p.m.
(Gates open at 5:30 p.m.)

2-1 Beer Night
Fans can enjoy 2 for 1 draft beer and $1 soda every Thursday home game.  Beer sales will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at the conclusion of the 7th inning.

Ladies Night

  • One lucky lady will have the chance to win a 10kt white gold bracelet with ¼ ct diamonds, compliments of Midas Jewelers.
  • Ladies will have the opportunity receive giveaways and win raffle prizes from local vendors and businesses including LA Fitness, Psychic Source, Ideal Image, Tyler Floral Shoppe, Odyssey and Rodan and Fields Dermatologists.
  • In addition, the first 100 ladies that enter Joker Marchant Stadium will receive a free carnation, courtesy of Tyler Floral Shoppe.

South McKeel Academy Spirit Night
South McKeel Academy students, teachers and parents will be participating in fun promotions throughout the game as part of Back to School Bash.  They will also be holding a raffle with cool prizes.

Conservation Night
Meet local wildlife organizations and wildlife enthusiasts that manage fish and wildlife. There will be give-a-ways, raffle prizes, fishing and archery demonstrations, and wildlife related on-field promotions.

Fireworks Extravaganza following the game (weather permitting).

3nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Night
Join the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Polk Hispano for Hispanic Heritage night, featuring Live Hispanic music, Live dancing, plus local business displays inside the stadium.

Santa Fe Spirit Night
Santa Fe students, teachers and parents will be participating in fun promotions throughout the game as part of Back to School Bash.  They will also be holding a raffle with cool prizes.

Sunday, September 2 vs. Tampa Yankees @ 11:00 a.m.
(Gates open at 10:00 a.m.)

Kids Day

  • All kids 14 and under will receive free admission to the game.
  • Kids can play catch on the field beginning at noon (weather permitting).
  • Kids can also run the bases just like the Flying Tigers following the game (weather permitting).
  • All fans will receive a voucher for a free sundae, compliments of Dairy Queen – North Lakeland.

Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount.  Saturday tickets are an additional $1.  Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10.  Parking is FREE.
