Inaugural Classic Car Show Comes to (Tiger) Town

Join the Flying Tigers and the Lakeland Corvette Club on Saturday, August 18 for a day of entertainment when the Tiger Town Classic comes to town! This classic car show will not only feature live music and classic cars, but will be a dayof fun and pure entertainment at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland. Don’t miss this inaugural event filled with cars, baseball, food, live music, trophies and vendors. It’s one the whole family will be able to enjoy!
Early registration and parking will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18. The car show officially begins at noon and will wrap-up with judging at 2:00 p.m. and the trophy presentation at 4:00 p.m.
Following the car show, the Flying Tigers will take on the Dunedin Blue Jays. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., and Saturday’s baseball promotions include: Arts at the Ballpark in which the Flying Tigers will be wearing specialty jerseys designed by a local artist to be auctioned off benefiting the arts of Polk County, Star Wars Night where Star Wars characters will make special appearances, Kids Club Day & Big Brothers Big Sisters Night.

Registration cost for the Tiger Town Classic is $15, and will include:
- Car entered into car show
- Car entered into judging (30 trophies)
- Ticket to Flying Tigers game
- Event t-shirt
The deadline to receive an event t-shirt is Monday, August 13, and the first 100 registered are guaranteed a shirt.
