Lakeland Flying Tigers
Dates: Now – September 1
Venue: Joker Marchant Stadium
-The Lakeland Flying Tigers have returned to Lakeland for the 2012 season.
-This week’s home games are:
July 19 vs. Miracle, 6:30 PM; $1 Sodas & 2-for-1 Beers
July 20 vs. Miracle, 7:11 PM; 7-11 Fridays, The Missing Gator of Gumbo Limbo, Metro PCS Family 4-Pack
July 21 vs. Miracle, 6:00 PM; Firework Extravaganza, Christmas in July, Kids Club Day, Team in Training Night
July 22 vs. Miracle, 1:00 PM; Sunday Family Fun Day
2012 USCDKA National Tournament
Dates: Friday, July 20 – Sunday, July 21
Venue: Lake Eva Banquet Hall – Haines City
-This National Taekwondo Tournament is a competition in weapons, extreme forms, traditional forms and sparring.
-The two-day event ends with the night of champions.
-Top competitors from the event will compete for bragging rights along with demonstrations from the top teams.
Bryan Storer Memorial 115
Date: Saturday, July 21
Venue: Auburndale Speedway
-The 1st Annual Bryan Storer Memorial 115, a Super Late Model Race, will be held at Auburndale Speedway.
-Shawn Reutimann will be the race director and will make all the calls on and off the track.
-Laps are being sold for $20.
Men’s and Women’s Coed State Championship
Dates: Saturday, July 21 – Sunday, July 22
Venue: Loyce Harpe Park – Mulberry
-This Florida ISA coed championship will be played at Loyce Harpe Park in Mulberry, formerly known as Carter Road Park.
