CATCH THE FOOTBALL ACTION IN POLK COUNTY THIS SATURDAY

Football kicks off in a major way this Saturday, August 14 in Polk County. Youth not only from Polk County, but from all across central Florida will be playing in the Mid Florida Football & Cheerleading Conference Jamboree at Simmers-Young Park in Winter Haven. The first games star at 9:00am and the last games begin at 5:00pm. This promised to be an action packed day of youth football. Click on MFFCC for the schedule.
Also on Saturday, August 14, the Webber International University Warriors return to the field with a scrimmage. Starting at 1:00pm the Warriors will battle against each other in a controlled scrimmage at their practice facility. All Webber practices are open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the sights and sounds of college football.
