Flying Tigers Return Home May 4 for $1 Hot Dog Night

The Lakeland Flying Tigers return to Joker Marchant Stadium for a six-game homestand beginning Monday, May 4 against Florida State League north division rival Dunedin Blue Jays. The Brevard County Manatees will be in town for a three-game series May 7-10.
The Blue Jays series kicks off on Monday, May 4 with the first pitch scheduled for 7:00 pm. Gates to Joker Marchant Stadium will open at 6:00 pm. It’s $1 hot dog night. Also, check The Ledger for a special two-for-one ticket offer.
Game two of the series is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 at 10:30 am. The Flying Tigers will be hosting Polk County third graders at the game as part of our “Baseball is Education” program. It’s also Senior Appreciation Day. All seniors 55 and over will receive a special $3 ticket.
The series finale takes place on Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 pm. Gates will open at 6:00 pm. It’s the Flying Tigers All-You-Can-Eat Night sponsored by Ker’s WingHouse of Lakeland. Tickets are just $10 and includes admission to the game and all-you-can-eat sliders, hot dogs, sausages, peanuts, popcorn, pretzels and chips as well as food from the WingHouse from 6:00-9:00 pm and while supplies last.
The Manatees come to town beginning on Thursday, May 7 featuring $1 beverage night. Friday, May 8 is Jim Leyland bobblehead night. The first 1,000 paid adults 15 and over will receive a free Jim Leyland bobblehead. The series concludes on Saturday with a post-game fireworks show.

Tickets for the homestand and all home games are available by calling the Tigers at (863) 686-8075. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. All Wednesday tickets are $10. Parking is free. The Flying Tigers are a Class A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
