New Exhibit to Showcase Polk’s Football Past

Are you ready for some football? The Polk County Historical Museum is as they prepare to open a new exhibit highlighting “Polk’s Pigskin Past”. Sure, we all know about the recent successes of Polk County athletes on the college and NFL level, but this exhibit will stretch back into the past and highlight all the football stars from Polk County’s past. Here is some information about the event straight from the Historical Museum:

This Saturday, January 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the museum welcomes the Super Bowl with this look into Polk’s football history. A tailgate party, with free hot dogs and hamburgers, kicks off from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The entire museum will be open to the public during usual business hours (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
