Stars on the Water?

You have heard of Stars on Ice and events like that, but how about Holidays on the Water? That is exactly what you will get if you attend the Lakeland Flamingo’s “Synchro in Silver 25th Anniversary Holiday Water Show” Monday, December 15at the YMCA in south Lakeland. The Lakeland Flamingos are a nationally recognized synchronized swim team that operates out of the YMCA on Cleveland Heights Blvd in Lakeland and they will be putting on their 25th edition of this holiday event. If you are like me, you have always wondered about synchronized swimming and how it is done, maybe you have even seen it during the Olympics, but to really appreciate it as a sport, you should really check it out in person. This event gives you a great opportunity to do that. The team will present routines to Holiday musical favorites. It all starts at 7pm at the YMCA on Cleveland Heights Blvd. in Lakeland (3620 Cleveland Heights Blvd.) and admission is free.
