There is an article up today stating that Zumaya hit 101 on the radar gun. I remember seeing Zumaya throw in Lakeland two springs ago I believe. This could have been a mistake but on one pitch the radar gun hit 107. The crowd went nuts. Leyland immediately came out to the mound and removed him from the game because it was clear that Zumaya was just trying to light up the numbers on that radar. Zumaya is an exciting player to watch, I'm sorry I missed him the other night in Lakeland. Does anyone know if he just by chance would pitch on dollar beer night as well?
