Let it Fly Flag Football National Championships This Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend is here and that means so is the Let it Fly Flag Football National Championships. Polk County has hosted this national championship event on Memorial Day weekend for the last five years and they will be back again this year. The competition will take place at Lake Myrtle Park all weekend, with the championship games being held in all divisions on Sunday. This isn’t your typical flag football that you see being played at a local park either. A lot of the participants, especially in the “Top Gun” Division, are really good and most of them even played some college football. It is a lot of fun to watch, so go check it out this weekend in Auburndale. We’ll have some photos up for you next week to check out.
